COURSE PRESENTATION
This course will provide orthopaedic surgeons with the means to update their knowledge of the diagnostic and therapeutic approach to all osteo-articular pathologies in the elbow region, namely acute osteo-articular injuries (fractures, instability or tendon ruptures) but also chronic pathologies and elbow overload.

There will be a special focus on the surgical treatment with the most current techniques in arthroscopy and open surgery, as well as a supervised hands-on cadaver lab module.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES >> KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO DEVELOP
  1. Provide orthopedic surgeons with up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge, in order to improve individual practices and results in the surgical treatment of elbow pathology and the immediate application of this same knowledge in cadaver training.
  2. Develop diagnostic and management skills for clinical problems as well as correct therapeutic guidance.
  3. Develop the practical skills of participants through training on cadavers, in a supervised manner, of arthroscopic techniques and an open approach to this anatomical area.
