COURSE PRESENTATION
This course is developed for those that already have basic knowledge in infertility and aim to work in assisted reproductive technologies treatments.
At its end, participants will have acquired knowledge on how to:

- Perform a thorough assessment of the different clinical scenarios that lead patients to search for the aid of a Reproductive Medicine specialist;
- Apply the principles and values of healthcare ethics in their interaction with patients;
- Adequately prescribe and do the follow-up of controlled ovarian stimulation protocols for ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination and IVF in normal, poor and high responders;
- Prevent and Manage Ovarian Hyperstimulation syndrome;
- Perform a transvaginal guided oocyte pick-up;
- Use embryological concepts for clinical decision making in standard IVF and the various forms of PGT cycles;
- Perform intrauterine insemination and embryo transfer.

- To properly use clinical reasoning in the definition of the diagnostic and therapeutic options in Reproductive Medicine
- To assure the application of the ethical principles in clinical practice
- To know how and when to use the arsenal of pharmacological tools for the induction of ovulation
- To perform the intra-uterine insemination procedure
- To know how and when to use the arsenal of pharmacological tools for ovarian stimulation for IVG in different clinical contexts
- To prevent and treat ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome
- To know how to assess the role of add-ons in IVF treatment
- To perform oocyte pick-up and embryo transfer
- To understand the basic Embryology concepts that are relevant for clinical decision-making
